  This Japanese Dogyu Ryoguchi Genno Hammer has a unique design with one flat striking face & another slightly curved face. The flat face is used for driving nails & tapping chisels while the slightly curved face is used as a nail set hammer, making sure the nails are flush with the wood without damaging the surrounding area around the nail. The convex curved side of the hammer can also be used when working in joinery pieces. When hammering & tapping joints, the hammered area will be temporary diminished, but will later contract back for a tight joint. A very special and unique Japanese carpenter hammer.  Made by Dogyu.
