This Japanese Dogyu Steel Kariwaku hammer is a good all-purpose type of hammer that's good for framing work. It has a special groove with a magnet in the head that holds both short & long nails (It cannot be used with nails that are 35 mm or less). The hammer is great for nailing hard-to-reach high places, & one-hand nailing. Simply put the nail in the grooved slot & lightly hammer first, then firmly drive the nail a second time. The hammer claw is shorter than most hammer claws, resulting in more leverage in nail pulling. Made in Japan. -
