  This Japanese Kyusakichi "Ko Hocho" Laminated Knife is a good shorter kitchen knife. The 4" (105 mm) long cutting edge & 1-1/4" (32 mm) wide blade is suitable for smaller slicing & cutting tasks. Laminated with high carbon and mild steel. Includes plastic sleeve for protection.   Made in Japan.

     Yoshida Hamono is a family-owned Japanese company with an age-long tradition in manufacturing state-of-the-art tools and Japanese swords (katanas) by hand. Yoshida Hamono has a great deal of experience forging ZDP-189 steel in the traditional manner. The company has a smaller workshop in the Japanese town of Seki.
