  An old-style full-mortise lock designed for cabinets & drawers, commonly used on all types of furniture from the 1800's onward. This item was called a 'machine' lock because they are  designed for insertion in mortises cut by machinery or routers, this was a widely used lock in drawers of all types of furniture from the late 1800s onward. Made of steel material, this lock is sturdy & well-made. The lock is designed for right-handed operation on cabinets & for use on drawers as well. Friction fit cabinet lock.
